During his career, he carried out assignments in Pakistan Petroleum Ltd, ENI, LASMO while also handling Joint Venture Assignments with Shell, Chevron, Exxon, BP, BG, OMV, Petronas, Sonangol, and Premier Oil.

Possesses extensive career includes sustained leadership roles in Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Production, and Asset Management of medium to large-scale onshore and offshore oil and gas fields, including associated utility facilities like Power Plants. Has a proven track record in achieving production optimization, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring high standards in Safety and Fire Protection procedures. The executive responsibilities encompassed high-level functions such as Project Management, Commercial Negotiations, Contract Management, and Joint Venture (JV) Partnership Management with leading global energy companies.

Since 2021, he has specialized in Technical Risk Survey and Evaluation for the insurance industry in Pakistan & abroad. The primary focus has been on medium to large-sized Power Plants and complex industrial facilities. The foundational 37-year tenure involved extensive Operations, Maintenance, and Asset Management responsibilities within Pakistan’s Oil & Gas establishments, i.e., OGDCL and Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. In between, a decade was spent in Saudi Electric Company, Saudi Arabia. This period included hands-on oversight of Oil & Gas drilling equipment, production facilities, and gas compression facilities. Additionally, senior management positions overseeing project management, joint venture assignments with OMV, MOL, and PEL, and corporate services.

Since 2011, I have specialized in technical risk assessment, conducting comprehensive surveys for major insurers, re-insurers, and brokers across Asian markets. These included power plants, chemical process plants, hydrocarbon facilities, telecom infrastructure, and large-scale healthcare facilities. Deep operational experience is leveraged to deliver high-level risk evaluation reports, offering actionable recommendations to enhance property loss controls and risk management systems, ensuring strict compliance with applicable best international practices and critical standards, including NFPA.

Seasoned Civil Engineer with over 37 years of comprehensive experience in design, project management, and construction across major civil and infrastructure organizations.

Since 2012, focus has increasingly been specialized in risk survey and evaluation of major construction and infrastructure projects. This includes detailed risk assessments of highways, motorways, airport runways, hydro power plants, and large-scale multi-storied towers (hotel, residential, and office complexes) in international markets.

Extensive technical tenure focused on specialized areas including geotechnical engineering and the planning and design of critical airside facilities (runways, taxiways, aprons). Remained deeply involved in seaport infrastructure, specifically the design of jetties, wharves, and breakwaters, alongside preparing detailed feasibility reports and technical proposals. Responsibilities expanded to encompass project management for major highway and airport projects, overseeing crucial functions such as coordination and preparation of technical specifications, etc. The experiences also include working as a construction engineer for complex developments, including the construction of an airbase in Saudi Arabia, housing, and multi-storied housing complexes in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
